Last weekend we went to a 4th of
July party in CT, then back to NY to visit with Stu's side of the fam.
Here are some pic's from the weekend. I'm late getting these up. Sorry.

Beth and I. She's so cute. Loving the Lily Pulitzer dress too. She's ready for the Hamptons.

My good friend Nick from the FLZ days. LOVE HIM TO BITS!

"Uncle Stu" and his little buddy Raphe.

NOW onto family time at Stu's grandparents house. I had several pieces of Ant Debbie's chocolate pound cake. I believe she said the recipe called for "3 sticks of butter and 6 eggs". Glad she told me this after I ate half of it. No wonder I cracked my scale Sunday morning :0)

We have no plans this 4th of July and I couldn't be happier. I can't wait to do nothing. I'm sure something will pop up last minute, but whoooofc. I told Stu last night that I think we should just grill out and hang at home. Working in NYC during the week and not being around as much, has given me a whole new appreciation for suburban living that's for sure. When I worked in Philly, and had a lot more free time, all I wanted to do was go, go, go. Now? Not so much. I love being home with Stu and our dogs. I get excited when we have to run errands and do day to day stuff that we can't get done during the week. I think that's why I'm really looking forward to laying low this weekend. Hooray for doing nothing!

What are your plans for the 4th? Family BBQ? Fireworks? Picnic? Pool party? Tell me.
