Today we took Z to the Children’s aquarium. What an adventure that was! Yes, he’s only 5 months (almost) old, and yes, we were the only one’s with a child under the age 2, but we didn’t care. It was the perfect day. Just me and my little family.

After our trip to the aquarium, we went to Chocolate Secrets, a quaint little chocolate (duh) and coffee shop on Oak Lawn Ave in Dallas. Stu and I were craving something sweet so this was the most perfect place. We sampled everything a few chocolates and then dove into the chocolate case our treats. Stu got a some exotic chocolates and I settled for a piece of chocolate dipped biscotti aside a latte. Twas delish. I would definitely go back there again. Mark my words.
Tonight we hung home and ordered din from The Cheesecake Factory which happens to be conveniently located just 3 measly miles from our house. Score. I’m diggin’ their skinnylicious menu. Big fan of the Tuscan chicken. Mmmmm.
Oh, before I forget, big shouts to my momma for getting me these adorb earrings for Christmas. They’re nice, sparkly and always put a big smile on my face whenever I wear them (like today.) Thanks mom!

Tomorrow after church, my friend Cynthia and I are going to World Market. I hear it’s pretty ridonk and I can’t wait to spend money scope it out.
Hope you’re having a great and relaxing weekend.

That IS a perfect day! And that is the cutest picture of Stu and Zach. I’m so happy for all of you! And to move to Dallas, you are right…it will change you. (I don’t live there, but I know the difference between here in the South (Atlanta for me) and NEw York.)
And you are in for a treat at World Market! I’m curious to know what you think! I think it is right up your alley. I love that store…similar to Pier 1 only way better!!!

Hi Lisa,
Longtime reader here from Philly! We miss you here but I’m sure they love you just as much in Dallas! One thing about your blog though, I can’t see your newest posts on lisapaige.com…I only know there are new ones when you tweet them. When I go to Lisapaige.com, the first post is you caroling in your car!

thanks Elizabeth!
Hmm, what was I wearing yesterday?? Oh, Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizer, followed by a pressed powder. I used MAC’S Petalpoint blush. For my eyes I used (and swear by) Too Faced Naked palette. My liner is ulta’s waterproof black and mascara is Rimmel’s Scandal Eyes. For my lips I had on Lancome’s L’ABSOLU NU Replenishing & Enhancing Lipcolor in “Pale Petal.” And there you have it missy. Oh, I also used urban decay’s shadow primer. Love that stuff.

Thank you so much. I always follow your blog. I would love to see more about your daily meals. I am trying to get back into running, thought it would be a great all over workout with the baby.
Best of luck with your family and Texas
