    It’s a beautiful day for a walk.

And what’s a walk without a impromptu photo sesh.

This one goes on my favorites list.

    LOVE.

    Have a great weekend!

    Morning loves!

    Question for ya-

If the gym you went to didn’t require, or not even ask people in the spinning classes to wipe down their bikes, wouldn’t you be disgusted? Every class I go to, never once has the teacher said “pls spray down your bikes before you leave.” To make matters worse, there isn’t even sanitizer bottles in the room!!!!! I’m over it and am ready to join another gym. One that makes their members clean the damn bikes. Think about all those sweaty crotches on the seats, NOT wiped down. I’m gonna vomit….

What do you think? Would you bail on the gym and look to join another gym? I asked one of the instructors about this ridiculousness and she said “wiping down the bikes is something their leaning towards in the future.” WTF does that mean? How about MAKING EVERYONE DO IT BEFORE THEY LEAVE THE ROOM? Every time, after every class. Apparently the bikes at my gym do get a thorough cleaning and are wiped down a few times a week (according to the instructor.) Still that isn’t good enough for me.

Good Lord I miss the NAC and all of my gym friends there. I also miss their cafe and my favorite chicken florentine wrap.

Besides that everything else is just peachy down here in Texas.

Tonight we’re going to see Kevin James at the Majestic Theater. We love him and we love “The King of Queens.” It’s still one of our favorite shows on television.

Tomorrow we’re taking Zach to get his picture taken with the Easter bunny. I’m not expecting him to panic or cry when he sees the Easter bunny. This kid will go to anyone. Of course the more I think about it, that’s probably not a good thing. Note to self: teach Zach to NEVER talk to strangers. Never ever.

Stu’s on vacation this week and the one thing he is requesting we do is….drum roll pls…..take a tour of the Dr. Pepper soda factory. There’s no getting around this. We’re going. I think it will be a lot of fun. I’m a Diet Dr. Pepper girl.

    Hey hey hey!

It’s been a busy day. Whooo.

This morning I went to my first class at Pure Barre.

My friend Sarah is hooked on this place and insisted I try it. Have you heard of Pure Barre?

Pure Barre is a total body workout that lifts your seat, tones your thighs and burns fat in record-breaking time. Utilizing the ballet barre to perform small isometric movements set to fantastic music, Pure Barre is the fastest, most effective, yet safest way to change your body. Students see results in just 10 classes.

Pure Barre is intelligent exercise. The technique protects your joints as it does not involve any bouncing or jumping. Each strength section of the workout is followed by a stretching section in order to create long, lean muscle without bulk. The workout launches a full blown attack on the areas of the body all women struggle with: abs, hips, seat and arms. It defies gravity by tapering everything in and lifting it up.

The workout requires such focus that you block “life” out for the hour allowing you to obtain the mental benefits achieved in yoga or meditation. A transformed body and a clear head in just one hour- it doesn’t get much better than this.

Yeah, so there you have it. We were 5 minutes into the class and I was already sweating. You guys know me, I’m not a sweater. Intense, but do-able. Charlie, our awesome instructor told me that the more classes I take, the harder it will become and that I’ll only improve on the technique.

    Sweet.

So that was my morning. I felt sore as hell really good after class and for some reason decided it was time I go to 24 hr. Fitness and inquire about teaching some spinning classes. I left a message and emailed the fitness manager so we’ll see. I’m going to my first body pump class this weekend. I’m tired of reading about how great it is on other blogs. I’ve gotta see what all the hype is about.

After lunch, Brandon and I took Zach for a walk and brought him to our neighborhood playground. Total mommy fail on my part because I forgot my camera. Zach LOVED the swing. I knew he would because he loves to swing (high) when we go to his little bundles class every week.

This was from 3 weeks ago. Yes, Zach looks absolutely terrified for the first 26 secs, but give him some time and watch how he warms up to it. His laugh melts my heart.

Rewind back to last night. We went to another Mavericks game. Yes, it was my 2nd one in a week. I’m hooked. Really, truly.

As we were walking into the AA arena look what was parked outside the doors.

I almost shit myself. A PEEPS CAR and they were apparently giving out free peeps!! Where the hell was I?

Oh wait, we were sitting up in the clouds. HAHA.

To take the place of the free peeps I missed out on, I dominated this $4 bag of cotton candy.

I mean, who doesn’t go to a basketball game and shove their face with 4 lbs. of cotton candy? Certainly not me.

Tonight is my Meetup.com group happy hour. Ten lovely ladies are attending. I can’t wait to mingle with these chicks. If you live in the Dallas burbs, check out my group. I’m making it a point to schedule something fun every month.
