I’m up a solid 6 lbs. Awesome.  I think it may have something to do with the fact that “my friend” is arriving this week. Bleh..

Brekkie: 1c Kashi Go Lean cereal, with unsweetened almond milk and sliced strawberries.

small Dunkin Donuts coffee. Four cream, four splenda. Don’t judge.

Snack: Kashi dark chocolate almond granola bar (130.)

Lunch: Big salad with chickpeas, blue cheese, roasted red peppers, onion, tomato, croutons. Lite balsamic

mid-pm snack: small apple w/ 1 tbsp peanut butter

    sting cheese

Dinner: lox, laughing cow (2 wedges,) onion, tomato and capers on bagel thin, carrots, and a little hummus on side.

serving lays lite potato chips, also on side

    dessert: 2x chocolate (60 cals)

How was your Monday? Mine was uneventful. This morning, my legs felt heavy and my body wasn’t feeling a run. Instead I did something I never do...walk on the treadmill. Yes, I said walk. To my credit, I did jack up the incline to a 10.5 and walked for a solid 35 minutes. I did the final 20 on the elliptical. At least it was something.

After my mini sweat sesh, I showered and then headed out. First stop- Dunkin Donuts. I haven’t had a dd coffee in over two months (when I was back in PA.). They just opened a DD down the street from us. Sweet.

    ohh lala

I went to Target and got 90% of my grocery shopping done there. The Target “Greatland” is just that. It’s great. More than great. I love that place.

I got home around 2pm, played with Zach, fed him lunch and then put him down for a nap. While he slept, I cleaned, caught up on emails, and planned a few fun things for my mom and I to do when she comes down this weekend.

Oh, I’m growing out my bangs. As much as I totally love them, I’m finding that it’s harder for me to go more than a day or two without washing my hair, because the bangs always look greasy. I can’t deal. Give me a bobbi pin and let’s call it a day.

My friends and I took another painting class tonight (my 3rd.) By the time Stu got home, I was rushing around to eat dinner and get out the door. I ended up throwing together lox, laughing cow, tomatoes, onions, and capers on a bagel thin. Holy shit, it was good.

    bring on the sodium

I met Lindsey and Naya at class and we got to painting and drinking.

Tonight’s painting was called “Dappled Forest.”

    You like?

This week Stu and I have three date nights scheduled:

Wednesday we’re going to the Ingrid Michaelson concert

Thursday we’re going to the Mavs playoff game

and Friday we’re getting our Seasons 52 fix on!

    Lot’s to look forward too.

    Hey friends!!

You know you’re officially a mom when you….

enter your baby the Parents magazine photo cover contest.

I’m not going to be annoying about this and bug you every 43 seconds, but could you take one minute out of your day to vote for Zach? Please? Believe me, I’ve done my share of voting for my friends’ babies in these things, and it can be a pain, but we’d really appreciate your vote.

    THANK you so much!!!

I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to spend some QT with my fam this weekend.

Exercise: ran 4 miles, 300 crunches.

Breakkie: English muffin topped with Biscoff spread, the crunchy kind! This stuff is not at all healthy. It’s basically crushed up cookies in a cream form. I’m not gonna complain about that. To add a little nutritional value to my meal, and to make me feel less guilty, I sliced up a small banana and added it to my cookie English muffin.

    this is essentially cookie butter

Lunch: Chipotle for the 3rd…or wait, maybe the 4th time this week. WHO AM I?

I got the salad bowl with steak, pico, corn, salsa, cheese, and black beans. Chugged coke zero

later in the afternoon, I had a coconut water. Love.

Dinner: we went to our favorite pizza place, but instead of pizza, I ordered my usual huge-ass salad. This salad is so ginormous, even the waitstaff tell people they are meant to be split by 2 people. Stu and I always get our own. It’s called the Texas bib salad: Bibb lettuce, goat cheese, tomatoes, bacon and artichokes. SO GOOD. Dressing on the side (always.)

New development: Zach LOVES to suck on lemons. He demolished 4 slices at dinner.

concentrating very hard on getting the lemon juice out.

Dessert: kids cup of chocolate/vanilla soft serve with crushed m&m’s on top.

Just now (10:12pm) a small handful of Naked granola. I stood in the pantry like a fool and picked out all the almonds.
