Sorry for the lack of posts over the last few
months weeks. Blogging has taken a back seat for me lately. I thought that by being a sahm, I would have some time to squeeze in a blog post here and there. For some reason, being home has done quite the opposite. I find that my days are busier now than ever. Working and commuting into NYC (pre-Zach) was a freakin’ breeze. Staying at home is anything but…we never stay home. Zach and I are out and about most days. If we’re not exploring our new city, running errands, meeting friends for lunch, going to play dates or visiting daddy at work, we’re at home playing, eating, pooping, napping, walking, etc. When I’m not entertaining Zach, I’m cleaning, doing laundry, scheduling appointments, or preparing dinner. Blogging has become my second priority. With that being said, starting today, I’m going to make a solid effort to get at least one new post up a day. I’m serious this time. I’m pretty sure I can find 15 mns. a day to get something up for you guys.
I’m also bringing back my “Daily Eats” feature. A few of you have asked for it. My eating habits haven’t changed. I still keep a food journal and I continue to workout. This Dallas heat is gonna kill my mid-morning runs though. I’ll have to start getting out around 5am to be back by 6am when Stu leaves for work. Must beat the heat.
A few things I’ve been up too lately-
I ordered this pretty rug for our kitchen/family room space.
I’ve been into taking classes at “Paining with a Twist” with my girlfriends.
Someone got a new hat yesterday. Notice the price tag hook on top? We were still in the store when I snapped this. Zach-looking dapper as always :0)
My mom is flying down in three weeks.
I’ve gained 4 lbs. since last week because of these. Fail.
I’m thinking about getting a new tattoo of the Christian fish symbol.
And last but not least, this weekend I’m running a “mom’s only” 5K.
So there you have it. My life is so riveting, right? I kid, I kid.
