    Hi again-

Look, two posts in day. This is crazy. Who am I?

Britney Spears posted this on vid on facebook. In case you missed it, here’s Kelly Clarkson’s rendition of “Everytime.”

We went to the YC store yesterday and the Fall scents loured me in. You know I LOVE tarts. I’m burning Harvest Welcome and to be honest with you, it’s not my favorite. Spiced Pumpkin is still #1 in my book.

    hmmm, Fall

I wanted to get the whoopie pie for my sister. She’s kind of obsessed with whoopie pies.

Am I the only one ready for Fall? It’s going to be quite an adjustment this year. I hear Texas doesn’t really have an Autumn. Sad.

I had to take Zach to the pediatrician earlier. He’s been stuffy and boogery the past few days. Turns out he has little ear infection too. Hoping the anti-biotic and benadryl will knock it out before we leave for Philly this Friday.

One year later, and Zach still has those delicious cheeks.

    Mr. Cheeks

someone was entertained while we waited.

Anything that moves or slides, Zach is all about. I love watching him.

My brother is going home tomorrow. We had fun this past week. He was happy to be a part of Restoring Love.

We’re heading out to dinner soon so I’m peacin’ out. Have a great night.

    Happy Tuesday!

Please keep my sister in your prayers today. She had to go to the ER last night because of abdominal pains. They are running tests and have her on a morphine drip. We hope it’s not appendicitis.

We had a crazy weekend. Our friends Dom and Jenn were in town, as was my brother. They were all here for Restoring Love. The festivities began Thursday night at Restoring Laughter. Stu did his first stand-up routine and killed it. I was so proud of him. Re-cap is here.

All day Friday, I was out reporting for the Blaze and talking to people volunteering. Saturday night was the big event. It was ahh-mazing.

This was the view from our suite. Pretty incredible. Over 65,000 people came from all over the country to attend.

    Stu and Pat on stage.

After the event, we went to the after party at the Omni. I can’t remember the last time we were out until 3am. It was a good time, although getting up at 6:30am to feed Zach was not.

Sunday we had a post Restoring Love bbq at our house. This was our first big party at the house. I had the Corner Bakery cater. Easy breezy. Oh, and the food was fantastic.

I took a few naps yesterday- when Zach went down, so did momma. I was pretty exhausted.

Last night Zach and I watched Stu play tennis. He plays three times a week, but usually his matches start at 8pm, and that’s when Zach goes to bed. Last night was an exception. I really had no idea my husband was such a good tennis player. I need to go to more of his matches.

    cheering daddy on

This Friday we are flying up to Philly to start vacation! Zach’s party is on Sunday and we’re having it at our old house. I rented tables, chairs and linens and am having it catered. We are very excited! After spending a few days in Philly, we’re going to CT and then Nantucket. I’ll be away until August 20th. I am staying an extra week bc my friend’s wedding is on the 18th. Stu is coming home the 12th. I’m looking forward to seeing our family and friends. It’s been forever.

Hope you are having a great week so far.

    Hey there!

I know I’ve been like, beyond horrible at updating lately. Sorry.

Restoring Love is finally here. It’s this weekend!

My brother is flying down on Thursday and our friends Dom and Jenn are flying in on Friday. Everyone’s staying through next week.

I’ll be interviewing all the amazing people volunteering this Friday and then re-capping my day with Glenn on GBTV at 4pm. The actual event is all day Saturday. It’s going to be a long, but fun weekend.

Yesterday, Zach had a play date with his little friend Julia. How cute are they?

    Hallmark card, don’t you think?

I got my first Bluum box yesterday. I’ve been telling all of my mommy friends about it.

Think birchbox but for mom’s and babies.

    I love surprises.

I just love these brown box concepts. I will gladly try samples of new products for Zach and I.

I’m so excited to be going home next week. Zach’s birthday party is going to be a blast and I’m dying to see my fam and friends.

Hope you have a great Wednesday!

    Hey there!

So random, but I’ve been in a huge egg mood lately? I made Zach scrambled eggs with mozzarella cheese the other night for dinner, and ever since then, I’ve been dying for eggs. When we were little my mom used to make us soft boiled eggs with sliced up buttered toast for dipping. Mmmmm. I’ve never made a soft boiled egg in my life. I googled how to do it and as I watched the video, realized I don’t have an egg cup. My mom would use a shot glass to hold the egg. Hmm, do I have a shot glass? Nope. Don’t have a shot glass. Thanks to Crate & Barrel my egg cups should be on their way :0)

I’ll have you know that I’m drooling all over my keyboard right now looking at this picture. Good Lord, egg cups hurry up and get here.

What foods have you been craving lately? Eggs and pizza for me.

Before I go, here’s another short vid of Zach. I’m so lucky to be his mommy.
