Oh, hello! I’m Lisa and this is my blog. Thanks for stopping by.
A little about me: I’m in radio. I’ve worked in Tampa, Philly, NYC and now Dallas. You can hear me on the weekends on 106.1 KISS fm. I’m on 2-6p and whenever they need me. I used to do the radio thing full time, than we had two kiddies and moved to TX. Now I do it part time. My full-time gig is being their mommy. When I’m not on the air, I’m cleaning, doing laundry, grocery shopping, running errands, setting up endless service appointments, playing or reading to my kids. When I’m not doing any or all of the above, I’m shopping, running, spinning, blogging or pinning :0)
I’ve had this blog for five years now, but recently went on a little hiatus. Once we had Ainslee, I needed a break to just enjoy my family. Over the past five months I’ve not only grown as a person, but as a mom, sister, wife, daughter and friend. Crazy how kids will do that to ya! I’ve discovered a plethora of fun beauty stuff, figured out how to work a weight machine, managed to get myself on a tv network (more on that later,) and balance life with two under two.
My husband and I have been married for almost eleven years (this Oct!) He works his butt off and travels a bunch so when we have time together, we make it count. Weekly date nights a must and saying grace at the dinner table is our new tradition. It melts my heart to hear Zach say “Amen.”
If you’re a regular reader of this blog, than you know all about our two pugs, Phoebe and Miles. Phoebe is almost completely deaf. It’s sad, but don’t worry, with Miles by her side, she doesn’t miss a beat. I think Miles senses that his older sister is getting up there in age (she’ll be 13 in Oct.) He is very sweet to her and likes to make sure she knows when someone is at the front door, or when Stu walks in from work.
So, I think that’s it. If I missed anything, call me out-
