First off, today is Zach’s 6 month birthday! We celebrated by going to the pediatrician for his 6 month wellness visit.

    Stats:

weight: 18.8 lbs. of pure sugar (50-75th%)

    look at those rosey cheeks!

    Length: 26 3/4″ long (25-50%)

    Head circumference: 17 3/4 (75-90%)

We celebrated Zach’s big day by eating some cereal and bananas today!

As you can see my kid LOVES his food. Are you really surprised?

In other fun news, we’re flying up to CT this weekend and staying through next week. I’m excited for my family and friends to see Zach. Late next week, I’m driving down to PA to visit my besties and check up on our house. In the market for a new house?

I miss everyone SO much! Speaking of family- my sister is so desperate to find a man talented, she went out and got herself a little newspaper column. Her first topic is online dating. Thank Gawd I never had to experience that madness. Y’all are brave souls putting yourselves out there like that. I say this only because Lindsay has told me about her nightmare dates. Creepers!! I can’t even imagine.

Okay, off to make dinner and snuggle with my big 6 month old.

    Byeee!

    Hi guys!

Did you watch the Grammy’s? Thought’s? If you follow me, than you know where I stood. Overall it was good.

Anyway, earlier tonight I took this ADORABLE vid of Zach in his bouncy seat. His little laugh is truly infectious. I’m so lucky to be his momma ;0)

PS- Zach will be 6 months old tomorrow, February 13th!

    best buds

Guess who will be my Valentine this year?

"my mommy is my Valentine every year."

Bangs and the bouncy seat are currently my obsessions this week.

    hey hey hey!

Dominique cut my bangs yesterday. You guys know that I’ve been contemplating getting them for months now. After watching the Bachelor (don’t judge,) last week and seeing Rachel’s bangs- I had to have! Hers sealed the deal with me.

It’s crazy how such a minor change in your look can make you feel completely different. Don’t get me wrong I love myself I’ve never had any self esteem issues, however.these little bangs are a nice change. Me likey. Thanks Dom!

Now, onto our other new LOVE.

Zach’s jumperoo. We have the Baby Einstein activity seat, but this jumperoo can run circle around that thing. Zach definitely prefers to bounce rather than sit.

Like I said on facebook earlier…

    Case & point.

This morning, Zach literally bounced himself to sleep. TO SLEEP!

    What a little darling.

Is this not the most precious pic ever?

After 25 mns of non-stop bouncing, it was clear little Zach needed to take a much needed break.

    My heart is melting.

After Z’s cat nap, he woke up and had some cereal and bananas! What a productive morning we’ve had.

    Play. Sleep. Eat.

So far Zach’s only had sweet potatoes but today we had bananas. Y’all were right, meal time is messy, but super fun! And he loved the bananas.

    Clearly.

    “you lookin’ at me?”

As you can see, our child is a fan of “food.”

Today we’re going to the Galleria to get me a purse do a little shopping. I’ve got my eyeballs on this Chloe bag but I think I want it in black. Rawrrrr….

    get on my arm

Hope you guys are having a great weekend!

Oh yeaaaah!! Just shy of his 6 month birthday, Mr. Zach has started eating cereal. We are going places people!

"I want to eat the bowl."

I was going back and forth between cereal and oatmeal. Which is better? What will he like more? Will the rice make him constipated? We have both and I tried both. Zach doesn’t seem to care. He’s been more interested in the sweet potatoes to be honest.

Does my kid look like he’d reject any type of food?

    "I like stuff this mommy."

    More please.

    "tasty."

It was hilarious watching him try cereal for the first time. We stared spoon feeding him this crap Monday night and so far so good. I mix 1 tbsp of rice with 2 oz. formula and nuke for 15 secs. I make it really soupy and then dip the spoon in a little sweet potato before giving it too him. The sweetness masks the grainy unflavorful cereal. I fool him, bwhahahahahaha. For now, we’re doing the cereal thing twice a day. Once in the morning before his bottle and once in the evening before his bottle. Done and done.

    "this is good stuff."

    "feed me."

In between eating big boy food and making a complete mess for mommy, we’ve been loving our new bouncy seat.

“Mom, please stop taking my picture.”

This child melts my heart <3

So our big painting project is done. I love the colors. I’ll post pics tomorrow.

Hope you’re having a great week!
