Gotta Get Down on Friday

Hii guys!

Happy Friday!!

Busy weekend ahead for us. More on that in a sec. I’ve set up shop at Starbucks. I haven’t worked from a Starbs in… probably two years? I hate Starbs coffee (gag me,) but I love my soy peppermint lattes. I’ve been craving one for the past few days so I had to fix that and now I’m happy happy happy!

First off, THANK YOU GUYS so much for taking time out of your busy days to VOTE for our little Zach Attack. All of your crazy voting paid off and now our little man is sitting pretty at #1. People keep asking when this contest is over. Are all of my postings and tweets starting to annoying you? HAHA. I bet. I think today is the last day to vote but honestly, I have no idea. I just entered him on a whim last week. Probably should have read the rules and disclaimers, huh? Ooopsies.

Zach was so happy at breakfast today. I think he knows he’s #1 now (always in my book.) He’s like a little money with bananas. Watching him try to pick up the pieces and shove them in his mouth is hilarious. I make sure to break them up really good because he scoops up 3-4 bites at a time and shoves them in his mouth all at once. This kid eats like me.

Look at the AMAZING picture my cousin Rachel drew of Zach? Isn’t it beautiful? She is so talented. LOVE it Rach. LOVE!

Last night we went to a ~~pathetic~~ MAVS game. Ugh. By the 4th quarter I couldn’t watch anymore. They kept missing shots. Like, every freaking shot. It was BAD!

We had fun despite the MAVS horrendous loss.

Team Spirit

Tonight we’re going to Seasons 52! I seriously cannot wait. I haven’t been there since my going away party last December. Five months is inexcusable. Never again will I wait this long. I see a filet in the near future.

Tomorrow morning Stu, Zach and I are running a 5K. What I really mean is that I’ll be pushing Zach in the BOB and Stu will be power walking beside us (and probably breathing really hard, hahaha.) He’s so nervous about this race. I have no idea why. Funny. Sunday morning I’m running a the “Heels and Hills” 10K with two of my friends.

My mom is flying down tomorrow. YAYA!! Isn’t she a babe? I want her to find a nice ~~rich~~ man. Let’s go already Marzy!

Aww, I miss being pregnant. We’re gonna have to do something about that ;D

Sorry this post is all over the place today. Just have a lot on my mind.

Pier 1 is across the street and there’s a table I want to get. Packing up now! Have a great rest of the day.

A Little Ingrid Action

TGIT! Hey guys-

Last night we saw Ingrid Michaelson at a cute little venue in Dallas. She was really good. I don’t have any of her cds, so I wasn’t super familiar with her music but I have to say, she was entertaining. A little on the folksy side, chill, funny and very conversational. We met up with a bunch of Stu’s co-workers/friends there. That’s what’s so awesome about our situation. A lot of his co-workers moved down here too. Most of them are from NY and NJ.

“Winter Song” (duet with Sara Bareilles) is one of my faves. It was on a Starbucks Christmas soundtrack I bought a few years ago.

This is a good song too. She sang “Maybe” towards the end of the show. Awesome.

Tonight we’re going to the Mavs playoff game. Oklahoma City Thunder, you’re going down!!

My mom is flying down Saturday and staying for 9 days. I can’t wait. For a person who was petrified of flying, I gotta give it to Marzy, she has become quite the traveling pro these days. This is her 3rd visit in 4 months. Go mom! I’m still waiting for my dad and sister to get their butts down here.

In Zach news, he is literally minutes away from crawling. I’m walking around around like a mad woman with my iphone. I’m determined to get his first crawl on record.

From babies to boobies:

God bless the women who’s boobs have remained big and beautiful after giving birth. That is unfortunately not the case for me and my girls. They are as flat as pancakes. Most 12 year olds have a bigger chest than me. I’m smaller than before I got knocked up. No joke. With that being said I finally paid a visit to Victoria’s Secret and bought three new bras. Go me! I have been desperate to get new bras. I’m as flat as a board and all the bras I have are too big. I got sized properly (hollar to all my fellow 32 A girls out there!!) The biggie was a strapless bra. I wear lots of off-the- shoulder slouchy tops and a strapless bra is a total must have for me. Before I made my way to the registers, I, of course, par-oozed through the PINK section. What can I say, I got sucked in. Crazy how a couple of these cute tops (to wear over my new strapless bra, obvi.) slipped into my bag. Hmmmmm…

These are so comfy and I love the way they look with skinny jeans and/or leggings. I wear it over a colorful long fitted tank. PINK is really pushing their yoga leggings and I fully support that. I told you last year when I was pregnant with Zach that these leggings were a staple in my wardrobe because the wide elastic band folds up and can very easily act as a “belly band.” Convienant right? They are definitely worth it in my book. I never wore the real belly band. So uncomfortable. Boo.

Tomorrow I’m getting my hair done. Thank the Lawd. My roots are like beyond bad. Yuck.
