Hi Gorgeous! How are YOU?? Me? I’m well, thank you!

It was a flowery kind of day.

I was feelin’ these babies. Not bad for $15. Even though it’s hot as hell down here, I can’t shake my love for all things pumpkin fall.

After I dropped Z off at pre-school this morning, I went for a run. It’s so ridiculously hot at 9am. I feel like such a slug. I can’t wait until we “fall” back in November so I can just get up at the ass crack and run at 5:30a before Stu leaves for work.

Good thing I don’t have these s’mores candy corns laying around. My runs would be a waste of time.

Be warned, endless bags of candy corn can be found on the aisle caps by the check out lines at Target. Ya know, for the convenience.

Anyway, Ainslee’s little backpack came yesterday. I love how it tuned out. Zach’s is on back order until Oct 1st. I bought this bag on, btw.

If you follow me on instagram, sorry for the photo repeats.

My veggie stuffed peppers are in the slow cooker and will be done soon. I’m into eating early because I’m 77 these days.

Hope everyone had a great Thursday. My friend Sarah and I are going to see Miranda Lambert tomorrow night.

We went last year too. Gosh, Miss Miranda is awesome live! We just love her.

Okay doll- gots to go. Have a great night!

Hope you’re having a nice weekend. It was nice to wake up next to my husband this morning. For the past 2 months, he’s been traveling non-stop {in preparation for the election.} Yesterday they flew from Ohio > Iowa >Chicago > Dallas. They went to Ohio to attend a Mitt rally. So jealous!

Glenn, Stu, Pat and the TV staff

Speaking of our future president, I’m seriously bummed that of all places Mitt chose to stop, it’s Shadybrook farm in Yardley, PA. later today. It’s literally 6 miles from our old house. If you live in Bucks county, don’t miss this incredible opportunity to see our next president. Hell, buy him a cup of Uncle Dave’s famous pumpkin ice cream. Print your ticket and GO!! I’ll be thinking of y’all!

Since Stu was away Friday and all day yesterday, Zach and I kept ourselves busy busy. We went for a 3 mile walk mid-morning. This was Zach a half hour into our walk.

You know the saying “never wake a sleeping baby?” Yeah, well, I didn’t. I parked him in our back hallway and he slept an additional 15 mns.

After Z’s snooze, we went to Walmart. Ya know, for the essentials.

Paper towels, bouncy balls {Zach’s obsessed,} candy canes, soda, and water. Uneventful.

    Opps. almost forgot these

After Walmart we hit Southlake Town Square for some peppermint yogurt, and to make a return at Sephora. On the walk back to the car, Zach and I popped into Yankee Candle for a few Christmas tarts and cookies. They had chocolate chip, chocolate and vanilla cupcake cookies that I couldn’t resist. Zach went for a chocolate chip.

Laid back is the name of the game. Clearly Zach was  feeling relaxed by the time we got back to the car.

    “Shopping is fun, mom!” haha

    My friend Lindsay and I went to dinner last night and than saw “Pitch Perfect.” It.Was.Awesome! We thought we’d be the oldest one’s in the theater. Thankfully we weren’t. We sat in the row with two other couples {who appeared our age or older.}

I’m not a “Gleek” so I def thought this type of movie wouldn’t interest me. I remember seeing the previews and thinking “no way I’d see that.” After reading such great reviews, I said “Whooofc.” So glad I had that mentality.

It really was super funny! Loved it!

    Have a great Sunday!

Umm, yeah, so Carrie Underwood was ahhh-mazing last night.

I want to be her. I mean, who doesn’t?

We had such a great time. This was the first concert in a very long time where we actually paid for the tickets. Being in radio, I’ve been spoiled. Rest assured though, Carrie was worth every penny. She was fantastic. And gorgeous. And sweet. And.., okay I’ll stop.

    my cute date

If Carrie is coming to your city, GO!

Oh, so I got 4 links taken out of my new watch and now I can wear it ;)

Zach got a little daddy watching time this morning over his breakfast. It’s so fun to watch him react to Stu being on tv. The second he sees Stu, he points to the screen and says “dada.”

    hey dad

I ordered 2 pair of maternity cargo pants from Motherhood Maternity but they are too long. Normally, I’d just roll them once or twice but these have draw strings so it looks ridiculous. Returning tomorrow.

Hope you’re having a great week! TGIF tomorrow. Yay!

    TGIF friends!

How was your week? I feel like it flew by for me. Zach is napping, so here I am blogging..and still rocking the middle part :0)

I’m so into these little devils that I made chocolate pumpkin muffins last night and added cornies to them! Ahh-mazing!

    these were worth the mess

While Stu was at Glenn’s watching the debate, I had my own little viewing party here. Three of my friends came over, we ordered sushi and than sat down to laugh at Biden watch the showdown.

What a joke (pun intended.) Clearly, Biden thought it was happy hour time. You know where I stand, and that’s all I’ll say about that.

Tonight we’re going out with Eddie and Michelle. I love double date nights. Din and a movie is the plan. Michelle and I want to see Sinister. It’s the perfect scary movie for this time of year.

Tomorrow morning I’m walking running a 5K. I have no idea how I’ll do. I haven’t run in 2 weeks. Stu is taking Zach so I’ll be minus a 23 lb. baby and pushing a stroller. This should work to my advantage. Tomorrow afternoon we’re taking Zach to the Flower Mound pumpkin patch. This particular patch has so much going on for the kiddos. Hayrides, a kiddie ferris wheel, a petting zoo, etc. I don’t know who’s more excited, me or Zach.

Sunday I’m getting a pre-natal massage at 9am. I can’t wait. Ahhh, just the thought of it is relaxing me now.

*Phoebe just came into the room, farted and walked away. #Rude

I’m in the market for a new red lipstick. With the holidays quickly approaching, I’m in desperate need of a pretty red. My friend Lindsay is a makeup artist and used to work for MAC. She suggested I get MAC’S Viva Glam 1.

    Viva Glam 1

    I like.

Speaking of lipsticks, one that I’m totally obsessed with is MAC’S “Pure Zen.”

It looks great with a clear gloss on to. It’s a limited addition so you better get it now. Most stores are already sold out and you know MAC, they’ll discontinue this shade in no time. I bought four backups. Don’t judge.

    Pure Zen

Okay, that’s it for now. Have a great Friday!
