Gotta Get Down on Friday

Hii guys!

Happy Friday!!

Busy weekend ahead for us. More on that in a sec. I’ve set up shop at Starbucks. I haven’t worked from a Starbs in… probably two years? I hate Starbs coffee (gag me,) but I love my soy peppermint lattes. I’ve been craving one for the past few days so I had to fix that and now I’m happy happy happy!

First off, THANK YOU GUYS so much for taking time out of your busy days to VOTE for our little Zach Attack. All of your crazy voting paid off and now our little man is sitting pretty at #1. People keep asking when this contest is over. Are all of my postings and tweets starting to annoying you? HAHA. I bet. I think today is the last day to vote but honestly, I have no idea. I just entered him on a whim last week. Probably should have read the rules and disclaimers, huh? Ooopsies.

Zach was so happy at breakfast today. I think he knows he’s #1 now (always in my book.) He’s like a little money with bananas. Watching him try to pick up the pieces and shove them in his mouth is hilarious. I make sure to break them up really good because he scoops up 3-4 bites at a time and shoves them in his mouth all at once. This kid eats like me.

Look at the AMAZING picture my cousin Rachel drew of Zach? Isn’t it beautiful? She is so talented. LOVE it Rach. LOVE!

Last night we went to a ~~pathetic~~ MAVS game. Ugh. By the 4th quarter I couldn’t watch anymore. They kept missing shots. Like, every freaking shot. It was BAD!

We had fun despite the MAVS horrendous loss.

Team Spirit

Tonight we’re going to Seasons 52! I seriously cannot wait. I haven’t been there since my going away party last December. Five months is inexcusable. Never again will I wait this long. I see a filet in the near future.

Tomorrow morning Stu, Zach and I are running a 5K. What I really mean is that I’ll be pushing Zach in the BOB and Stu will be power walking beside us (and probably breathing really hard, hahaha.) He’s so nervous about this race. I have no idea why. Funny. Sunday morning I’m running a the “Heels and Hills” 10K with two of my friends.

My mom is flying down tomorrow. YAYA!! Isn’t she a babe? I want her to find a nice ~~rich~~ man. Let’s go already Marzy!

Aww, I miss being pregnant. We’re gonna have to do something about that ;D

Sorry this post is all over the place today. Just have a lot on my mind.

Pier 1 is across the street and there’s a table I want to get. Packing up now! Have a great rest of the day.

A Wonderful Weekend With My Fam

Heeeey!!

Hope you had a great weekend. Mine was awesome. Stu did the Warrior Dash yesterday and today we went down to Katy Trail and walked 3 miles. It was a nice family day.

I just finished watching the premiere of RHONJ. I’m OBSESSED. Did you watch? Thoughts?? After tonight’s episode and from what they showed coming up this season, Teresa is legit CRAZY. Seriously, if I were her, I’d want to crawl under a table and never come out. Two words: white trash- her and her piece of shit, bankrupt, lying, cheating husband.

Happy Easter

Hi everyone-

Stu was off all this week, so I took a vacation from blogging to spend quality time with my little family. One cool thing we did was go on our first gondola ride. It was so much fun.

On Friday evening we met up with our photographer Alycia Alvarez for Zach’s 8 month photo shoot. I, of course wanted mostly pics of him, but who wouldn’t want a few family pictures as well?

Mission accomplished.

Something Zach is very used too… endless kisses, all day every day.

I’m sorry, but GERBER is missing out!! Someone call this kid already!!

Alycia said there were so many more great pictures like these. I’m honestly afraid to see them all. How will I ever decide which ones to order?

I volunteered at church earlier and then went to the service. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love our church down here. There are no words. I look forward to serving and worshiping every single week. It’s weird because I’ve never in my life felt this way about church until we joined Gateway. It’s such a blessing to be a part of something so wonderful.

This Easter we will be grilling out, lounging by the pool and face timing with family.

Got Eggs?

Happy ~~early~~ Easter everyone!

Like I predicted a few posts ago, Z didn’t even flinch when he met Mr. Easter Bunny. Maybe it’ll be a different story next year, but for now, Zach doesn’t seem to mind crazy characters in furry costumes. We’re going with it.

When we got home from the Easter festivities, Zach went down for a nap and mommy and daddy laid out by the pool. I swear, Stu’s cannon balls kept waking Zach up. He was sleeping in our room because the ac in his room is screwy.

After going in and out of the pool, I settled my tush down to do some reading. Forty five minutes later, the sun got the best of me. I had to pack it up and go inside. Bye bye pool, see you tomorrow.

What happens if a gecko runs into the house? Has this ever happened to you? There are little green geckos everywhere down here and one got into the garage yesterday and almost ran into the house. I’ll DIE if I see a gecko chilling on the counter or hanging on the couch. They are cute little critters, however I will scream loudly if I see one in the house. EEEEEK!

Ohhhh, ps- Kevin James was hilarious last night. If he comes to your area, you MUST go see him.
